Once again deviating from its “women’s health” mantra, abortion mill Planned Parenthood commented on the idea of virginity this week, denigrating the concept as a nonsensical “social construct” stemming from the leftist-feared bogeyman known as the “patriarchy.”
In a tweet, Planned Parenthood shared a photo of a large sign it erected that says: “Virginity is a social construct,” along with the words:
“The idea of virginity comes from outdated – let’s be real, patriarchal – ways of thinking that hurts everyone.”
In other words, Planned Parenthood believes that not having sex until you are married is an antiquated concept that must be scrapped, mainly because it comes from a time when more men occupied leadership roles.
In today’s feminist-controlled world, virginity has no more place in the lascivious, promiscuous lifestyles of modern women whom Planned Parenthood wants to see spread their bodies around to as many other bodies as possible.
And when unwanted babies are born from all that sexual immortality, women can hop on down to their local Planned Parenthood clinic to have it murdered, which in turn will give Planned Parenthood more baby body parts to sell on the black market for cash.
(Related: Last fall, we reported that Planned Parenthood has been selling aborted baby tissue to communist China in order to develop deadly bioweapons.)
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary officially defines a virgin as someone “who has not had sexual intercourse.” Even Planned Parenthood’s own website states that a virgin “is someone who’s never had sex.”
With its new sign in place, Planned Parenthood is basically telling the world that choosing to remain abstinent is something to be ashamed of, and something that others should mock as being a sign and symbol of the ever-dreaded patriarchy.
“Translation: Morality costs us business,” wrote comedian Tim Young about what Planned Parenthood is really telling this world with this bizarrely offensive new slogan.
Others pointed out that there is nothing socially constructed about not having had sex – it is simply a definition and a fact that neither Planned Parenthood nor anybody else can deny.
“It literally describes someone who has not had sex,” wrote political podcaster Melissa Dawn in a tweet response. “That’s not a construct.”
Dawn would go on in her response to inform Planned Parenthood that being a virgin is a “physical reality” that is not simply decided as part of some ancient moralistic view of the world.
“Your ideologies that you spout are a construct, however, and they suck,” she added.
It is nothing short of ironic for a group that calls itself “Planned Parenthood” to be criticizing those who are planning to not become parents quiet yet by remaining virgins.
“Funny how and organization named ‘planned parenthood’ (presumably to advocate for people to only become a parent when they plan for it) would tweet something that seems to suggest that abstaining from sex comes from a ‘patriarchal way of thinking that hurts everyone,'” added another person.
Town Hall editor Rebecca Downs went a step further by talking about all the scandals that plague Planned Parenthood these days, not the least of which includes the abortion mill’s illegal baby body parts racket.
“Oh, Planned Parenthood wants to ‘be real?’ ‘Let’s be real’ about how racist and sexist the organization is, about all the evidence pointing to baby body part harvesting, Medicaid fraud, failure to report, etc.,” she wrote.
“Don’t forget ‘exterminate the negro race’ as well,” interjected another about Planned Parenthood’s little-known roots as a racist, anti-black eugenics organization that sought to stamp out people with dark skin from society.
