As heinous as New York’s new abortion law is, allowing for unborn babies to be legally murdered right up to the point of birth, it’s actually a whole lot worse than that.
After a careful reading of the law’s provisions, it’s clear that, in addition to legalizing abortion at any point during pregnancy, the changes to Section 4164 of New York’s Public Health Law also allow for babies to be aborted after they’re born – a form of murder known as infanticide.
As reported by LifeNews.com, the legislation’s wording suggests that botched abortions, in which an unborn baby ends up being birthed rather than murdered, can be attempted again after that baby has left the birth canal.
“When an abortion is to be performed after the twentieth week of pregnancy, a physician other than the physician performing the abortion shall be in attendance to take control of and to provide immediate medical care for any live birth that is the result of the abortion,” the law reads.
In other words, should a baby be born instead of aborted as intended, another physician can step in and engage the process a second time.
“This law guarantees it, sweeping away a large chunk of the penal codes that protected abortion survivors,” Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, told LifeNews.com about the provisions.
“Thanks to this Act, Kermit Gosnell, and his bloodstained, cat-infested, third-world excuse for a clinic, would be untouchable,” Perkins added. “The Resurgent‘s Stacey Lennox puts that into its gruesome context: ‘For those of you who saw the movie [Gosnell], Baby B would not be considered a victim.'”

Hot Air offered up its take on the bill’s wording as well, exposing the same far-reaching language and what it portends for the future of legal abortion in New York State.
“Contrary to what its proponents say, the RHA (Reproductive Health Act) goes far beyond Roe vs. Wade in its aggressive extremism,” the media outlet reported.
“Removing protection for an infant accidentally born alive during an abortion is abject cruelty, something most people of conscience would deem inhumane for even a dog or cat.”
Live Action further reiterated this fact, explaining that New York’s RHA actually removes protections for babies born alive after an abortion, “meaning they could be left to die after birth – by rescinding a portion of New York’s public health law,” it reported.
Were this bill’s provisions aimed at household pets like cats and dogs, you can be sure that every Leftist out there would be marching in the streets over its inhumanity, declaring it to be child abuse. But because the target is unborn babies, the Left Cult is actually celebrating this satanic travesty.
Somehow, the only lives that don’t seem to matter to Leftists – besides white lives, of course – are unborn human lives. Unborn babies are now regarded by the Left as non-persons – disposable “medical waste,” according to The Daily Show creator, Lizz Winstead.
“‘Person,’ as far as this law is concerned, means a human being who has been born and is alive. Not a second before, and maybe – without infant protections – not a few seconds after, either,” Perkins added about the new law’s implications.
